Swissteach develops learning management systems, creates interactive learning content and implements innovative educational solutions. We are looking for someone to support the DevOps area

DEVOPS- & SYSTEM-ENGINEER (F/M/D)

As a DevOps & System Engineer in the Services team, you will take responsibility for the operation of the various customer solutions of our Global Teach® product. You are responsible for the smooth running of updates for servers and web applications. At the same time, you are the contact person for inquiries from the service desk and thus play a key role in customer satisfaction

Your tasks:

  • Planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure components

  • Ensuring system security, including firewall configuration and virus protection

  • Identifying and resolving technical faults and failures

  • Manage networks and servers, including backup and recovery processes

  • Evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve system performance and efficiency

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to facilitate integration of new systems

  • Documenting system configurations and changes

  • Willingness to participate in emergency on-call duties outside of regular work hours

What makes you stand out

  • You have a solid IT education (Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency, HF or FH)

  • You have experience in the operation of Windows servers and .Net web applications

  • Azure and Azure DevOps knowledge is an advantage

  • Interest in working with Azure and Azure DevOps is mandatory

  • Microsoft certifications in server operations or Azure are an advantage

  • You are interested in getting to know our product Global Teach® in detail

  • You are motivated and enjoy taking care of our customers' concerns

  • You have a very good command of German and English

  • You are looking forward to using and expanding your skills every day

  • You work independently, take the initiative and have a convincing manner
